I wanted to make an issue about Europe. There are several
reasons for wanting this but let me start with the most important one: promoting Europe as a fly fishing destination.
So I hope that after reading this issue we can agree on one thing, and that is that Europe has a fly angler a lot to offer.

From north to south
welcome to our weareflyfishing magazine, I hope you’re doing swell! In the previous issues Europe part 1 and 2 took us from the northwest of Russia to the Austrian capital – Vienna – and further south to Portugal. From there we went north again, to Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.
In Europe part 3 we travelled to the beautiful Scottish highlands, and from there to Slovenia, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Bulgaria, and The Netherlands
This fourth issue will take you to Great Britain, Spain, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Ireland, and, last but not least, Estonia.

From east to west and up north again
Europe has it all!
In the previous four Europe issues we visited no less than 21 countries. And we (e) met almost 40 European fly anglers; each with their own vision on fly-fishing and with their own story to tell.
What I remember best after reading all these stories, is the awareness that seeps through the lines. Not only regarding the more obvious things as the need for catch & release, using rubber nets and ‘keeping them wet’, but also regarding environment, food consumption and the sustainability of both.

Merry Christmas
Our first Christmas special
Christmas.
Now Christmas 2020 is at our doorsteps. And what can I say? I can say I have not seen so much pain, so much anger and hopelessness in decades. I can also say I haven't seen so much humanity and compassion in many years.
There once was a famous football player - Johan Cruijf - who had this motto that went something like this: 'every disadvantage has its advantage'.
Let us hope that Johan's motto is true and that we will come out better than we went in.

Dreaming of travel issue Covid-19 – April 2021
I like to dream. Both at night and during the day. Lately I often dream about vaccines. Vaccines that make all people healthy in one fell swoop. Sometimes it really works. That's the beauty of dreams.
This issue of Weareflyfishing magazine is about travel. That, in addition to vaccines, is the main subject of my dreams.
For now, dreaming is all we have. I'm sure this issue gives you some fuel for - and I hope it is - the last part of a horrible period.
